There is a very interesting fund in the records of the State Library of NSW. It lists the marriages which took place in Sydney in the period of 1930s at Christ Church St Lawrence.

16 December 1931 - Christopher Owie and Dow Margaret Barwick. Christopher is a poultry farmer from Estonia. His parents were Alexander Owie and Kathrine Botcharov. In presence of Henry Owie.



4 September 1933 Wolham Petrie (labourer) and Winifried Emerson. Wolham's parents - Demetrie Petrie (merchant, deceased) and Mary Soboleff






16 September 1950 - Alexander Nicholas Antropoff (wharf labourer) and Rayesa Farrell. Alexander - 43 years old, bachelor, from Simbirsk, parents unknown. Rayesa (Raisa) - 43 years old, widow, father Michael Dmitrievich Stepanoff (engineer)






17 January 1953 Charles Clay and Louise Elizabeth Vezgoff. Louise - 21 years old, parents Mary Grisch and George Vezgoff






15 November 1952 - Irene Rodionov and Maurice Hill. Irene - 21 years old. parents - Boris Rodionov and Lina Konuhova
