Дорога посвящена памяти русского мигранта Nikolay Kriloff - Николая Крылова, который подал заявку на сельскохозяйственную аренду номер 249 на берегу реки Кэтрин в 1929 году. Крылов держал аренду до тех пор, пока она не была передана из-за плохого состояния здоровья в 1949 году. Он умер в Wave Hill в конце 1950-х годов.

Was popular in Katherine and Darwin as a singer. Entertained Katherine by riding his black horse along the main street at the gallop doing handstands and ground sweeps. During the war part of his block used as an army farm. Described as 5' 7", hazel eyes, dark brown hair.
